Botox information and locations

Botox is a material primarily used to improve and relax frown lines on the face. However, it can be used to treat other conditions such as muscle contractures. This is a same day procedure.
Botox injections are used to temporarily improve and relax the frown lines. Injections are performed in the doctor’s office and might use local anesthesia to numb the area, but it is not necessary. The doctor then injects small amounts of Botox into the desired area. The number of injections depends on the patient
