I consider myself fortunate to be able to do something I enjoy and that connects me with the best part of medicine: accompanying the arrival of a new life.

Being alongside mothers, taking care of them and their babies, is an experience that involves many aspects. On one hand, the human dimension of pregnancy is emotionally rich and encouraging, and medically, it is complex and demanding. The necessary care is as opposing as it is complementary, and at the same time, while we must monitor and ensure the best gestation and health of the baby, we must also monitor and promote the general well-being of the mother so that her peace and happiness foster stability and health for both her and her baby. 

I graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with training in the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics and a subspecialty in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the National Institute of Perinatology. I hold certifications issued by the Mexican Council of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Mexican Council of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and The Fetal Medicine Foundation.
