Cystoscopy - bladder scope test
A bladder scope test or cystoscopy is a test in which, through the urethra, a
thin tube is introduced to see inside the urethra and bladder. A cystoscopy
helps diagnose kidney stones, bladder cancer, and the cause of recurrent UTIs.
Male circumcision is a personal decision, but, in some cases, it can be
performed to treat medical conditions like phimosis, recurrent balanitis, or
before placing a penile implant for ED.
Orchiopexy - Undescended testicle surgery
Orchidopexy is a surgery performed to return and fix the testicle to the
prostate bag. This surgery is done in boys with an undescended testicle or in
adults that suffer from testicular torsion.
The prostate biopsy can be done by two methods; trans-rectal ultrasound, which
consists of inserting a needle through the wall of the rectum, or transperineal,
where a small incision is made between the anus and scrotum.
Urethral Stenosis - Urethroplasty
Urethral stricture is a scar that blocks the flow of urine, resulting in
inflammation and infection of the urinary tract. Urethroplasty consists of
expanding or removing the obstructed section.
Varicocele is a dilation of the veins that drain blood to the testicles. This
disease can lower testosterone levels and cause infertility. Surgery involves
removing the affected veins and restoring blood flow.
