After surgery
On genioplasty, out of town patients are cleared to fly after 7 days of surgery, and follow-ups can be scheduled
with the maxillofacial surgeon after 7 – 14 days of genioplasty surgery.
Note: Follow-ups can be arranged as face-to-face or virtually. If needed, you can go to your primary care physician to remove sutures or get medication adjustments.
