How do I prepare for a nose surgery?
As with any surgery, your otolaryngologist will perform a physical examination before the procedure, you will be asked to not eat or drink at least 8 hours before the procedure. Tell your surgeon If you’re taking medications or supplements.
What can I expect during recovery?
During recovery, patients can expect mild discomfort and nasal bleeding on the first day. Swelling and bruising improve gradually, usually from one to two weeks. Normal activities can be resumed after three days.
