Am I a candidate for this treatment?
Candidates for B.T. either have it for cosmetic purposes or to treat lazy eye, muscle contractures, hyperhidrosis, migraine or eye twitching. Patients are usually between 18 and 65 years old.
Will the injections be painful?
You could feel some mild discomfort if no anesthesia is used. We recommend you to speak with your specialist to see if anesthesia is an option for you.
What happens after the procedure?
For the next 24 hours try not to rub the treated areas, this could spread the B.T. elsewhere. After a week, you will start seeing the results. However, you can return to your normal activities after leaving the clinic.
Will I need more injections?
For cosmetic injections, you could need regular follow-up injections to maintain results. For medical conditions, you could need a second injection if the problem persists. We recommend you to speak with your specialist to know if you need a second treatment.
