Am I a candidate for a laser skin resurfacing?
This procedure is mainly used for cosmetic purposes. Patients want to remove age, sun or acne related problems when other forms of treatment have proven unsuccessful.
How do I prepare for this treatment?
Depending on your medical history, your doctor will prescribe you with the appropriate medication. You are also advised to avoid direct sunlight for 2 months before the procedure.
What happens after treatment?
You can return to your normal activities after leaving the doctor’s office. You will need to clean up the area 5 times a day.
Will I need follow-up treatments?
An ablative correction usually doesn’t need a second treatment, but a non-ablative resurfacing could require follow-ups. We recommend you to speak with your specialist to find out how many treatments you need.
