For how long will I stay at the hospital after surgery?
This is a same day procedure. Most patients are able to return home five hours after surgery.
How long will recovery take?
The average recovery time is four to six weeks, all patients are different and times may vary. Patients need to exercise continuously their knee to increase the motion range. You should be able to drive after either the anesthesia has worn off or you don’t feel discomfort while using the knee.
Will I feel pain after surgery?
Everyone experience pain in different ways. The same procedure may cause a lot more pain in one patient to another. Doctors usually prescribe pain medications and recommend placing a bag of ice over the knee.
Will I need physical therapy?
