Plaza de Armas
This is one of the most important squares in Guadalajara’s historic center, it's located in the heart of the city, next to the Cathedral. Catedral de Guadalajara
The cities cathedral, officially named Catedral Basílica de la Asunción de María Santísima, is one of the most representative symbols of the city, built between the 16th and 17 centuries, it features a mix of different architectonic styles like gothic and baroque. The building highlights are its towers, its detailed interior and its altar. This place is not only a religious building but also a place of great historical and architectonic value.
Teatro Degollado
This is one of Mexico’s oldest and prestigious theaters. Opening on 1866, it features a neoclassical style, and it's known for its design and its impressing features like a painted dome, marble details and carved wood. It has been the host of different cultural events like operas, concerts, ballet, and classical plays.
